Dirty Bones in London is serving up the Double Dutch pancake for £8 - a signature deep dish pancake topped with fresh clotted cream, blueberries, and a shot of maple syrup. For a French twist on Pancake Day, head to Blanchette Soho or Blanchette Brick Lane in London, where chef director Tam Storrar will be whipping up fluffy crêpes and galettes in classics flavours and with Blanchette twists. Pancake fans will recognise the traditional Bayonne ham, gruyere cheese and egg, alongside a crispy confit duck with braised cabbage and juniper galette.
For those with a sweet tooth, there will also be a selection of Blanchette-inspired dessert crêpes, including chocolate sauce with hazelnut praline and beurre noisette ice cream, and of course the classic crêpes suzette.

This Bristol restaurant will be dishing out their signature buttermilk pancakes from 11am to 4pm, for a cheap and cheerful £1. You can add bacon or berries for an £1 each, depending on what takes your fancy.

Polo Bar X Jude's - London
Now this is a Pancake Day creation that is NOT for the faint-hearted. Liverpool Street joint POLO BAR is collaborating with Jude's ice cream this year to whip up three mouth-watering specials for Shrove Tuesday. Feast on the red velvet stack, which comes with a slice of red velvet cake and cherry ripple ice cream.
Or take your taste buds to more exotic climes with the traditional American pancakes, topped with Jude's mango and passion fruit frozen yoghurt, fresh tropical fruit and pomegranate. Fans of classic vanilla pancakes can indulge in the apple crumble and custard stack, served with a slice of apple crumble.

Mac & Wild have gone the whole nine yards for this year's Pancake Day. Visit their Fitzrovia or Devonshire restaurant in London and get your waistline ready for a monsterous stack of fluffy pancakes piled to the rafters with salted caramel ice cream, deep-fried Mars bar pieces and bacon bits, all smothered in a moreish whisky toffee sauce. On a normal occasion you'd visit Aqua Shard for its incredible views of London. Not this month though. More commonly known for their red velvet pancakes, The Diner have expanded their pancake selection for the 13th to include no less than eight different options. Love pancakes but hate the sickly sweet toppings? Then head to Mr Bao in Peckham, south London. The Taiwanese joint will be serving up their house special on Pancake Day – a traditional spring onion pancake. The glutinous pancake, stuffed full of spring onions and sesame seeds, is fried until crispy before being topped with house-made kimchi, basil and a fried egg.
