If you work in an office where you’re lucky to get some own-brand teabags and some stale biscuits once a year, then you may need to re-think your career. Because, you can now be an official Gordon’s gin tester, where your work is based solely around the perfect gin cocktail... and we’ve never felt more qualified. Ok, it’s not quite a career move, or even a paid position, but judging how much money we spend on G&Ts anyway, it’s technically paying us. Sort of.

Testers Keepers are advertising for taste tasters to try out Gordon’s new Premium Pink, Sloe, and Spot of Elderflower gins to make sure that they’re as delicious as they sound. Which sounds like very important work, and requires the utmost concentration and dedication, of course. Because we don’t know about you, but we’ve all got at least one bottle of Gordon’s in our kitchen cupboard - and are definitely keen to branch out to new flavours. Because who knows? Elderflower gin could become our go-to summer gin and tonic staple.

All they’re asking for is feedback, so you just have to review the tipples - maybe write your review before finishing the bottle, though. The deadline to apply is 31 July, and unfortunately there isn’t an option to add a CV and covering letter, which we know would certainly help our application. In the meantime, and before Gordon’s advertise for a full-time professional taste-tester, why not try and suggest gin tasting as a team-building activity with your colleagues? At least, ‘team building’ is what you can tell your boss.
