Bumpkin, South Kensington

When Kate was pregnant, Prince William took his wife and her 'bump' to Bumpkin in South Kensington. The Duke and Duchess enjoyed a traditional Christmas lunch, but if you visit this cosy little restaurant you could be feasting on delicious British recipes created with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.

Bluebird, Chelsea

The Duchess has been spotted at Bluebird on a few occasions, and is said to be a big fan of their European cuisine. Either enjoy the modern monochrome décor, or dine alfresco on the terrace, as you enjoy a menu including oysters, fish, grilled meat and pasta.

Riccardo's, Chelsea

A place that knows all too well what the 'Kate Effect' can do for business is Riccardo's in Chelsea. This modest eatery offers a taste of Tuscany – and Kate put it on the map when she was spotted leaving.

Tom's Kitchen, Chelsea

Tom's Kitchen was opened in 2006 by Michelin starred chef Tom Aikens, and the Duke and Duchess were snapped arriving to sample the comforting menu in 2009. With British favourites such as shepherd's pie and fish and chips on the menu, we're not surprised it attracts royalty.

Koffman's, Belgravia

This restaurant is tucked away at the decadent Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge, and it's apparently where Kate and Camilla Parker-Bowles met to discuss final plans just days before the royal wedding in 2011. The menu offers classic British, which we're starting to think the Duke and Duchess have a soft spot for.

Clos Maggiore, Covent Garden

In December 2015, Kate, her mum Carol Middleton and sister Pippa were spotted dining at this stylish restaurant in Covent Garden. According to those lucky enough to be there at the same time, the trio ate in the "apple blossom adorned conservatory". And if you fancy paying a visit, expect to find Oven Roasted Windsor Royal Park Venison Fillet and Shoulder Parmentier on the menu.

Bellamy's, Mayfair

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II surprised royal fans in March 2016 when she made a rare public appearance at Bellamy's in Mayfair. The monarch was joined by daughter Princess Anne and cousin Princess Alexandra. Bellamy's is a French brasserie and oyster bar and is one of the only London restaurants the Queen has dined in, apart from Caviar Kaspia, the French gourmet restaurant that used to occupy the same site, The Ritz and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal at the Mandarin Oriental.
