Fortunately, many of the UK's leading supermarkets and food manufacturers have taken note and expanded their product ranges, making it even easier to follow a vegan diet than ever.

Tesco Wicked Kitchen:
The supermarket has partnered with chef, Derek Sarno, to launch a new range of plant-based meals and sandwiches that are available at 600 Tesco stores nationwide. Featuring 11 ready meals and nine food-to-go options, vegans will be spoilt for choice. Think Rainbow Curry Bowls, Teriyaki Noodles and Sourdough Pizzas, all for as little as £3.
Strong Roots:
For days when you're in a rush, or just want an easy, yet satisfying vegan meal, Strong Roots is a must. The range includes a selection of frozen vegetables and foods, including Beetroot and Bean burgers, Mixed Root Vegetable Fries and Spinach Bites. Available for £2.99 at Whole Foods Market, Ocado and Amazon Fresh.
Sambazon Açai:
Celebrities including David Beckham and Vanessa Hudgens are known to love Açai, and anyone following a vegan diet will want to give it a try, too. A true superfood, Açai is naturally sugar-free, rich in antioxidants and full of fibre, healthy omegas and protein – the perfect vegan breakfast. Sambazon Açai is available at Tesco, Ocado and Whole Foods Market for £4.
Fullgreen:
For a super-quick and low calorie alternative to rice, Fullgreens selection of vegetable rices are a great addition to any plant-based diet. Sainsbury's:
The supermarket launched a range of seven new vegan products at the beginning of January, including pulled jackfruit, which it has described as a "supermarket first". Other new choices on offer for vegans and vegetarians include mushroom-based sausages which are made using 'ugly' mushrooms that would have otherwise gone to landfill. M&S:
Marks & Spencer launched a new vegan and vegetarian range in November to coincide with World Vegan Month. The selection includes 13 products, such as edamame bean burgers, beetroot falafel and cauliflower steaks. Available at Marks & Spencer Foodhalls nationwide.
The White Rabbit Pizza Co:
Think going vegan means no more pizzas? Think again. The White Rabbit Pizza Co creates delicious handmade pizzas that are free-from gluten, meat and dairy, but not lacking in taste. Toppings include vegan cheese, peppers and olives, or vegan cheese, vegan pesto and sun dried tomatoes.
