Supermodel Claudia Schiffer and film producer Matthew Vaughn have called it quits, despite rumours that they were co-habitating in his Notting Hill home.
“They are definitely not a couple anymore,” a friend of the two said. “People thought that they were very keen, but it has all gone wrong. There’s no one else involved – they just drifted apart.”
The couple first drew attention in late January when Matthew visited Claudia on the set of her upcoming film, Life Without Dick. Just eight weeks into their relationship, rumours flew that the German beauty and Matthew, director Guy Ritchie’s best man, might get hitched. Those plans now seem unlikely as the stunner has jetted off to tropical Mallorca where she is said to be spending time with family to get over the split.
“She has said that she is not seeing anyone at the moment,” an insider reported. “She just wanted to spend some time with her family and get away from it all for a bit.”
