High-octane glamour designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana will outfit boy band ’N Sync and British pop star Dido for their upcoming tours, continuing to marry the worlds of high fashion and rock and roll.

Justin Timberlake and the boys, whose PopOdyssey tour kicked off in Florida last week, will be decked out in D&G, the chic younger line from Dolce & Gabbana, as will No Angel singer Dido.

“The wardrobes couldn’t be more different,” says a D&G spokesman of the two tours. “Dido has a very London, understated, cool, street style. D&G emulate that in their shows and they always draw inspiration from London… Her wardrobe will include low-slung pants and fitted tops with embroidery and Swarovski crystals. ’N Sync, on the other hand, are very theatrical and their wardrobe is patchworked, rhinestone, ripped, embellished and fabulous.”

Dolce & Gabbana, whose spring collection included T-shirts carrying Madonna’s image, have a fan in singer Mary J Blige, whom they previously dressed for a series of concerts. “I love picking out which Dolce & Gabbana outfit I’m going to wear for each concert,” says Mary. “I wear their designs on and off the stage. But, I save the cleavage for the stage.”
