The emotional telethon America: A Tribute To Heroes was the scene in which former supermodel Cindy Crawford chose to present her second child, daughter Kaia Jordan, to the public for the first time. The unprecedented gathering of the film and music world’s finest, assembled to honour the victims of September 11’s horrific terrorist attacks, was attended by Cindy and her husband Rande Gerber, though the couple’s two-year-old son, Presley, stayed at home.
Kaia Jordan - born just three weeks ago - spent the night in the arms of her devoted mother and as these photos show, her parents' relationship seems a happy and loving one for the youngest member of the household. Dressed in a simple T-shirt with the words New York emblazoned on the front, Cindy proudly showed off her latest bundle of joy to anyone and everyone around her. With the showbiz world’s greatest in attendance – including Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Robert De Niro, Celine Dion, Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Brad Pitt and countless others – the new addition to the family certainly had a star-studded introduction to celebrity life.
Thirty-five-year-old Cindy is in great shape, having challenged herself to be rid of the 25lb she gained with Kaia and to return to her normal 34-24-35 perfection in record time. Cindy’s new arrival had a natural birth at the couple’s Los Angeles home, arriving weighing 7lb 10oz. The supermom married Rande in a beautiful beach ceremony in 1998.
