Model Claudia Schiffer and her film producer fiancé Matthew Vaughn have been relaxing on a sunshine break in Majorca. The couple took advantage of the sun to hit the beach and dine outdoors with friends during their off-season sojourn on the beautiful Balearic island, where Claudia has a villa.
Speculation mounts that they will marry on Claudia’s island home, as their friends have been asked to keep January free, fuelling rumours of a New Year wedding. Matthew, the son of Man From U.N.C.L.E star Robert Vaughn, produced Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels,I as well as Snatch, the two films that put Madonna’s husband Guy Ritchie on the map.
The German supermodel and the diminutive film producer met in Majorca last summer, but there was no romance at first – Claudia was, after all, seeing “It” boy Tim Jefferies. But after the two split up, Claudia and Matthew’s friendship turned to love. The couple have been romantically involved for just over a year and now share a house together in London.
And don’t expect a modest wedding from the two – Matthew is said to have made around £9 million from Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels alone, but his only serious purchase was a £50,000 Porsche sportscar – and Claudia is one of the highest-earning of the supermodels, and is estimated to be worth an eight-figure sum.
