She’s one of the busiest actresses in Hollywood, and now Catherine Zeta-Jones has added yet another role to her packed schedule – that of spokesmodel. The 32-year-old is succeeding model Amber Valetta as the new face of Elizabeth Arden in a four-year deal said to be worth upwards of $8 million.

Upon making the announcement, Catherine praised the beauty company and its self-made millionaire founder. “Elizabeth Arden was a visionary, and I am proud to be a part of the company she created,” she says. “As Ms Arden said: ‘To be beautiful and natural is the birthright of every woman,’ and I wholeheartedly agree with her philosophy.”

Executive Vice President said he was “thrilled” that the actress will working with the company, calling her “the epitome of personal style, elegance and sophistication”. The Mask Of Zorro star will launch the high-profile “Open For Beauty” campaign in June with the introduction of a new fragrance.

The news of Catherine’s new contract comes on the heels of Atomic Kitten’s announcement last week that they’ve signed with Avon to promote a line of cosmetics. However, the Traffic beauty's multi-million dollar salary surpasses the six-figures to be earned by the feline trio, and also edges out Elizabeth Hurley’s $3 million contract with Estée Lauder.
