Kylie Minogue has enlisted Dolce and Gabbana to create the costumes for her upcoming tour - and perhaps that's why the petite pop diva was paying close attention to the dynamic fashion duo's autumn/winter show at Milan Fashion Week on Sunday.
Star power was high at the show, with Kylie taking her place in a coveted front row seat and supermodels Gisele Bundchen and Naomi Campbell strutting up the catwalk. Kylie was as stylish as ever, wearing dark D&G jeans, red high heels and a cropped vest top. The Aussie singer is no stranger to Dolce & Gabbana – all three of her show-stopping outfits at the 2002 Brits, including the sexy white corset-dress and boots, were designed by the pair.
The designers’ latest collection, dubbed “rustic glamour” featured a relaxed yet undeniably sexy array of pieces in mink, suede and corduroy in coffee hues ranging from creamy latte to deep capuccino. “We don’t want to make flashy fashion anymore. We want to make down to earth clothes,” say the designing pair, who include Whitney Houston, Victoria Beckham and fashion icon Madonna among their fans.
