Gwen Stefani of No Doubt is following the footsteps of the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Christy Turlington by launching her own clothing line.

The new range is top be called L.A.M.B., as all the designs will feature the words Love, Angel, Music and Baby. The singer, who married British rock star Gavin Rossdale last year, is co-designing the clothes with her stylist Andrea Lieberman.

“This is truly my look,” she says. “It’s going to be based on everything I’ve ever worn, from my first punker pants to the presents. Shoppers hoping to put a bit of Stefani style in their image will have to wait until spring 2004, however, when the range will arrive in shops.

In the meantime Gwen is also producing a line of accessories and handbags in conjunction with manufacturer Le Sportsac, which will be available from September. The range of handbags, wallets and make-up bags will be made with woven guitar straps as handles. Needless to say, there will also be a CD case on offer.

Gwen demonstrated her sense of style when she performed Message In A Bottle with Sting at last week’s Superbowl. She looked stunning clad head to toe in her Swarovski crystals. A crystal encrusted halter top and pants with the word "LOVE" emblazoned across her enviably toned bottom. Her fourteen cheerleaders were meanwhile wearing skirts with sparkling crystal inside every pleat.

Mismatched patterns and loud colours have always been Gwen's trademark. When she married British singer Gavin Rossdale she showed that she can also be a picture of elegance, however
