Hot property Keira Knightley, currently making a splash in Pirates Of The Caribbean, is now diving into a whole new facet of her career – the world of modelling.
The striking Bend It Like Beckham star, who topped off an Alexander McQueen corset top with £500,000 worth of Asprey diamonds for the London Pirates premiere, has signed on as the new face of the prestigious jewellers. She'll be starring in Asprey's upcoming campaign, shot by famed photographer Bruce Weber, alongside Shakespeare In Love star Joseph Fiennes.
The adverts, set for a November debut, will coincide with the firm's re-launch and opening of new stores in London and New York. "I cannot think of anyone more appropriate to represent us than Keira," said a representative of the British luxury goods company. "Her beauty and style complement the new world of Asprey perfectly."
And Joseph isn't the only film heart-throb 18-year-old Keira is teaming up with these days. Her upcoming movies include Love Actually co-starring Hugh Grant and Colin Firth, the Jude Law romance Tulip Fever and King Arthur, in which she's been cast as Guinevere alongside Clive Owen and Ioan Gruffudd.
