While it's clear Nicole Kidman's acting career is red-hot, now it seems her rocketing status as a style icon has been turned up a notch.
The statuesque Aussie star graces the cover of one of the fashion world's most important magazine issues of the year, September Vogue. And inside, readers will find a glossy 20-page layout of Nicole – captured in everything from haute couture to Agent Provocateur – in pictures snapped by A-list photographers including Annie Leibovitz and Helmut Newton.
And the accompanying article is full of praise from the world's top designers. John Galliano labels her "flawless" while Tom Ford calls her red carpet persona "very much the star, very gracious, very elegant, very thoroughbred".
It looks like the upcoming months will be a virtual catwalk for Nicole, who has no fewer than three films – including Cold Mountain, The Human Stain and Birth – set to premiere between now and early 2004. Next up for the 36-year-old Oscar winner is the Venice film festival, which begins on Wednesday, where The Human Stain co-starring Anthony Hopkins will be screened.
