Several members of the England football team have been showing off their winning style by modelling for a fashion magazine.
Arsenal star Sol Campbell graces the cover of the new mag in an elegant fur-trimmed coat. His England team-mate Glen Johnson meanwhile swaps his shorts and studs for a pair of stylish striped trousers and high walking boots for his appearance. And Jermaine Jenas, who is more accustomed to wearing Newcastle's black and white strip, has donned a tifter and suit for the photoshoot.
The Newspaper Magazine is a new bi-annual glossy that fuses fashion and football. The title is being billed as the first periodical dedicated to soccer's style icons.
Some fans will be disappointed to find that the sport's ultimate trend-setter, the inimitable Mr Beckhamhas not modelled for the first issue. But other footie stars, like Ashley Cole, Bobby Zamora and Eidur Gudjonsen, have weighed in to prove they too deserve a place in the fashion world's premiership. And it looks as though the hunky athletes shoot just as well in a photographic studio as they do on the pitch.
Armani and Dolce & Gabbana have both produced one-off pieces for the launch issue, which lands in shops this weekend.
