A woman of many talents, supermodel Claudia Schiffer has turned her hand to painting for the Tate Gallery. The German beauty, who is also developing a movie career, was pictured working on a new masterpiece in London's Covent Garden.
But the 33-year-old had a little assistance, because her canvas was a specially made reproduction of Amedeo Modigliani's Portrait Of A Girl. Claudia had come along to help launch the "Paint By Numbers" initiative, which offers the public the chance to create their own classical artworks.
Over the next few days around 4,000 people are expected to take part in the event, which has been organised by Visit London and the Tate Gallery. The scheme is part of London's "One Amazing Week" promotion, which will see a series of one-off artistic events staged all across the capital.
Budding artists need only come along to one of the four "Paint By Numbers" venues, at Covent Garden Piazza, Heathrow Airport, Greenwich or Waterloo Station. And if Portrait Of A Girl is not to your liking, you can also try your hand at JMW Turner's Norham Castle, Sunrise or Paul Cezanne's Still Life With Water Jug.
