The only thing shining as brightly as the jewels was the array of stars who turned out to help inaugurate the new Jacob & Company flagship boutique in New York. The glittery affair featured a roll call of power names including Sean "P Diddy" Combs, and Lenny Kravitz, who joined party host and jewellery genius Jacob Arabo to help mark the festive occasion.
Lenny bundled himself up against the cool December chill in a beige hat and knee-length coat. Inside the new lavish boutique that has been designed to invoke the interior of a gem mine, he rubbed elbows with the likes of R & B singer Ashanti, who marked the occasion in a stunning holiday season red dress with plunging neckline. Meanwhile, P Diddy proudly showed off some of Jacob's exclusive designs, with a shimmering silver crucifix slung round his neck.
Affectionately known as Jacob the Jeweller, Jacob is considered the king of bling-bling. His custom jewellery and accessories have long been favourites with luminaries such as Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Elton John.
