Danish supermodel Helena Christensen, who once sent pulses racing in a sexy advertising campaign for Victoria's Secret, has returned to her sensual best by appearing in sultry ads for Dom Perignon. The 36-year-old obviously decided it would be better to wrap up warm when taking a stroll through the streets of New York with her little boy Mingus at the weekend, though.
The green-eyed beauty, who spends most of her time in London these days, was keeping snug in a hooded top and fitted jacket when she was snapped on Sunday afternoon. Her six-year-old son meanwhile kept a firm grip on his famous mum's hand while she chatted warmly with an unidentified male companion.
Having already proven herself as a professional photographer, the former catwalk queen is now adding another string to her bow by trying her hand at acting. The 5ft 10in star is currently visiting the US to promote her big screen debut in the romantic drama Allegro. And it looks likely we'll be seeing more of the aspiring thesp on celluloid, as her performance got a warm reception from critics after the flick was screened at the Sundance Film Festival.
The indie production, which tells the story of an amnesiac concert pianist who goes in search of his lost love, has been applauded for its innovative use of animation. And working on the flick gave Helena the chance to team up with acclaimed director Christoffer Boe, who garnered numerous awards for his 2003 drama Reconstruction.
