When Jennifer Connelly and Jemima Khan attended a fashion retrospective in Paris with their partners Paul Bettany and Hugh Grant, onlookers could be forgiven for thinking the ladies had exchanged fashion tips. The couples had adopted a monochrome approach to their wardrobe choices, making it a strictly black and white affair.
The Beautiful Mind actress was looking ultra chic in black strapless Balenciaga at the exhibition in honour of Spanish couturier Cristobal Balenciaga. She complemented her stunning dress, with its pretty ribbon and bow detail, with a glossy new hairstyle - her long fringe cut by French stylist-to-the-stars Serge Normant.
Meanwhile, Jemima also made an impression in a striking black and white ensemble, co-ordinating with her dashing actor boyfriend, Hugh. The fashion-savvy aristocrat gave a nod to summer's sailing theme with an anchor print top and was carefully accessorised with a white bag and black bangles.
The Parisian exhibition, which runs until January 2007 at the Museum of Fashion and Textiles, attracted an A-list crowd that included Mick Jagger, model Stella Tennant and Marianne Faithfull.
