With the pick of her father's store Harrods to choose from and a hotline to legendary Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Mohamed Al Fayed's daughter Camilla is well-placed for her latest job. The society princess has been signed up as GMTV's couture expert during fashion weeks in New York, London and Paris.

The popular girl about town, who counts the Hilton sisters, Lindsay Lohan and Margherita Missoni - heiress of the Italian fashion house - among her friends, describes her style as eclectic. "I love mixing high street and high fashion, so GMTV viewers will get a sneak peek of what's hot for next summer," she promises.

While she may raid high street shops on the look out for bargains, Camilla's fabulous wardrobe also contains Chanel, Issa, Stella McCartney and her sister's label, Jasmine de Milo. When it comes to footwear she sticks to vertiginous heels by Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik.

Every bit as driven as her entrepreneurial dad, 21-year-old Camilla has been helping out on the shopfloor of Harrods since she was knee high to a grasshopper. Then last year she landed an internship in Manhattan under the iconic Ms Wintour. Now the ambitious fashionista plans to bring TV viewers all the details from behind the scenes, rub shoulders with the stars and share her own sartorial tips.
