Supermodel Heidi Klum and her husband Seal have welcomed their second child together. The A-list couple have confirmed that a little boy, whom they have named Johan Riley, was born in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.
The infant weighed in at a healthy 8lbs 11oz and both mother and baby are said to be doing fine. The proud father expressed his delight in a message posted on both his and his wife's websites: "To our children, a brother. To our parents, a grandson. To my wife and I, a son. To our family, a blessing," he wrote. "He is healthy, beautiful and looks just like his mother."
News of the arrival comes just a day after the loved-up pair were seen leaving a California hospital hand-in-hand. The runway queen had previously revealed the latest addition to her family was due to make his big debut on November 24, so fans have been waiting on tenterhooks for confirmation of the birth.
Little Johan Riley can look forward to growing up with two older siblings. Seal and Heidi welcomed a little boy called Henry last year, while the German beauty also has a two-year-old daughter called Leni from her relationship with Formula One boss Flavio Briatore. And it seems probable there will be more additions in the years ahead, as the couple have made no secret of their desire to have a large family.
