Scarlett and Salma sizzle in new ads

They're not short of a penny or two but Hollywood stars have been giving their bank balances a little pre-Christmas boost with some high-profile ad campaigns. Scarlett Johansson and Salma Hayek are set to turn heads on billboards with their seductive appearances for Louis Vuitton and Campari respectively.

The curvaceous Black Dahlia star is appearing in her second ad for Louis Vuitton, to promote the luxury luggage brand's spring 2007 collection. Well known for her love of old-fashioned glamour, the actress no doubt had a ball shooting the romantic images which show her in 1950s starlet pose.

In one shot the 22-year-old, who is dating hunk Josh Hartnett, provides the ultimate distraction wearing just a pretty set of pink lingerie plus a pair of retro shades.

Salma, likewise, puts in a sexy appearance as the face of drink label Campari. The Mexican beauty strikes a sultry pose in a backless gown for the ad, shot by Princess Diana's favourite snapper Mario Testino.

And it's not just the Tinseltown set who are boosting their bank balances. Closer to home, Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin star in their first ad together for Coca Cola. The Liverpudlian duo turn on the glamour in the photos which show the Manchester United striker holding a can of Cola Zero, dubbed Man Coke, and his fiancée, dressed in a slinky silver gown, sipping on a Diet version.
