When your father is a former professional sportsman and your mother a model, then it is safe to say that poise and confidence in the spotlight run in your blood. And the six-year-old daughter of Wimbledon champ Boris Becker certainly lived up to expectations, taking to the catwalk on Friday without a hint of nerves.
Anna, daughter of Boris and Russian model Angela Ermakova, made a striking impression as she modelled designs by Italian designer Anna Molinari at a fashion show in Florence. Wearing creations from the label's children's wear collection, the youngster debuted with an aplomb which would surely have made her parents proud.
Watched by her mother, she strode down the catwalk in a pretty black netted skirt and silver trimmed cardigan, before changing into a dramatic white hooded cape.
"Anna is a beautiful little girl," said Boris, who is based in Switzerland but visits his daughter at her mother's London home. "I'm proud and very happy that I'm her father."
