Elle Macpherson has invited Londoners into her boudoir. The Australian model used a specially constructed bedroom at Selfridges department store in the heart of the capital to launch her latest range of lingerie on Monday.
The statuesque beauty didn't model any of the designs herself, but she was eager to give fans a peek at her seductive new creations. And with Valentine's Day just a few weeks away, the Antipodean bombshell is hoping her lovely undies will prove as popular as ever.
"I hope it inspires women to embrace their sensuality and identify what intimacy means to them," said the mum-of-two. "I won't pretend it isn't sexy, sensual or even provocative, but it's also romantic, luxurious lingerie and above all, made to have fun."
Elle's new collection, which has been named Intimate Boudoir, features quarter cup bras, suspenders and garter belts in gold, pink and cream. And the 43-year-old has promised there will be yet more goodies on offer in the not-too-distant future, as she is planning to release a second 'suite' of risque designs in April.
