The was no question about who was the centre of attention at a bash in London's National Portrait Gallery this week, after local girl Kate Moss dazzled in both artistic and social terms at the event.
Looking characteristically stunning in a sheer black chiffon dress and ostrich-feather jacket, the 33-year-old set flashbulbs blazing when she arrived for the opening of the Face Of Fashion exhibition with her headline-friendly beau Pete Doherty.
Kate features in some of the most talked-about works in the show. One, which comprises a series of nine portraits by photographer Corinne Day, shows the mother-of-one's face in close up, while several others depict her nude.
And although the Croydon-born beauty has said the photos show up her "crooked nose and wonky teeth", her fellow catwalk queen Erin O'Connor seemed mightily impressed with the pictures. "I think they're the most empowering images," explained the statuesque mannequin. "I don't think they make her look vulnerable at all. It's all about her relationship with the camera - she keeps eye contact."
