She may be known as a fun-loving girl who regularly rubs shoulders with some of the world's highest profile celebs, but Kate Moss insists her most important ally is her daughter.
In her first ever magazine interview the tight-lipped supermodel described Lila Grace, her four-year-old daughter with ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack, as "a Mini Me", and said that Lila's birth marked a key moment in her life. "I felt like now I've got a partner in crime," she is quoted as saying in the April issue of British glossy Vogue. "I'm never going to have to be on my own again."
It comes as no surprise to learn that the daughter of one of the world's most ubiquitous models has inherited her famous mum's flair for fashion. "She comes in at bedtime and says, 'Mummy, do you think this is a good look?' and then she has a fashion crisis," Kate reveals. "I say, 'You will wear what I tell you,' but she says she's the adult of the bedroom. Now we lay the clothes out before she goes to bed - but then she goes, 'Mum, I need options'."
Her mother's globe-trotting schedule and high-profile career means Lila also boasts some influential friends on the fashion scene. Kate fondly recalls how Lila and Donatella Versace "struck up a friendship" on a campaign shoot for the designer's label which ended up with Lila sporting waist-length hair extensions, much to her head-tossing delighted. Kate also tells of the youngster's amusing encounter with Princess Beatrice and her sister Eugenie, when a bemused Lila asked: "How come, if you're princesses, you don't have tiaras and a pink dress?".
