Hopping around on crutches, Seal was clearly determined to keep pace with his lively young family as he headed out with model wife Heidi Klum and her daughter, Leni, this week.

The British pop star obviously had no intention of letting a recent leg injury prevent him from joining them of their outing.

Seal, who injured his leg in a skiing accident in Salt Lake City, was on fine form as he accompanied Heidi and soon-to-be-three Leni on a to visit a school in Culver City, California. The singer, who has two children with Heidi - one-year-old Henry, and Johan, four months - is a hands-on father to the couple's brood, and says he relishes the day-to-day duties of parenthood, admitting there are days when he doesn't even leave the house, preferring to stay with the children.

"We try to spend as much time as possible together," explained the proud father. "There are days we never get out of our pyjamas. We play with the kids in bed, watch TV, cook, hang out." And Heidi makes it clear that she is equally content. "This is what Seal and I have always wanted: a home filled with children's laughter," she says.

Flashing a smile despite being on crutches, Seal had no intention of letting a skiing injury interfere with spending time with his family.
Hanging out with mum and dad is hungry work for Leni, who tucks into a biscuit to keep up her energy levels.
