When your mother is a former catwalk star, and dad is a rock star who's dated a roll call of runway queens, it is safe to say that modelling runs in your blood. The latest assignment for glamorous blonde beauty Kimberly Stewart looks set to raise a eyebrows among the Stewart clan, however.

Twenty-seven-year-old Kimberly has just inked a £100,000 deal to model for upmarket lingerie brand Ultimo, which in 2004 famously replaced Rod Stewart's fiancée Penny Lancaster as its image, with his ex-wife Rachel Hunter.

When Ultimo boss Michelle Mone commented less-than-tactfully about the relative attributes of the two ladies, Rod made his disapproval clear. As a result Kimberly is apparently bracing herself for the fall-out from her latest move.

"Kimberly is well aware that Ultimo is the company which upset her dad over the Rachel and Penny saga," said a source close to the family. "It caused a fair amount of upset in the Stewart family. So it was surprising that she agreed to model for Ultimo - her dad will go mad. She's very close to him too so it's a real shock she agreed to do the campaign."
