Six of the most iconic models of the past 20 years have come together for a spectacular new advertising campaign by French luxury goods brand Louis Vuitton. Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Natalia Vodianova, Eva Herzigova, Angela Lindvall and Stephanie Seymour are all featured in the stunning new ads, for which they're photographed posing on vibrantly coloured sports cars.
"I thought the idea of hot chicks and cars was really cool - and very Richard Prince," says Marc Jacobs, creative director of the brand.
It's not the first time the American designer has drawn inspiration from US photographer and painter Richard Prince. At the most recent Louis Vuitton catwalk show in Paris, models strutted down the runway dressed as nurses - a theme Marc Jacobs said was also inspired by Richard's work. And the car featured in the new spring/summer 2008 ads is a 1970 Dodge Challenger - belonging to the snapper himself.
"It is kind of groundbreaking to have six of the supermodels together," said the brand's director of communications. "If Marc Jacobs was managing the budget, he would have even taken 12!"
