Moving house may not be the ideal pre-birthday activity by most people's standards, but cover girl Kate Moss managed to take the potentially stressful activity in her stride on Tuesday. After picking up the keys to her plush new St John's Wood pad she left the removal man to it and nipped round to her actress pal Davina Taylor's home in nearby Primrose Hill.
Kate, who has been staying with Davina for the last six months, was spotted leaving the address with her rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince, both laden down with bags. There were no clues, however, at to whether the 39-year-old musician had treated his girlfriend to some early birthday presents, or whether they were simply interior design goodies to add the finishing touches to Kate's new home.
The supermodel won't have had much time for unpacking as she was due at the Dorchester Hotel the next day to kick off her 34th birthday celebrations at a Twenties-themed tea party with friends including Kelly Osbourne.
And the festivities won't end there. The party, which Kate apparently wants to continue for a total of 34 hours to reflect her age, is then set to move onto a London club. There they'll dance the night away before convening again the next day at Davina's house.
