As the chaos continues at Heathrow's new Terminal 5 it seems even celebrities aren't immune to the problems facing passengers this week - as catwalk queen Naomi Campbell found out when she became a victim of the bag confusion on Thursday.
The jet-setting 37-year-old was on board a flight about to take off for LA - where she was due to make a TV appearance - when she was informed the bag containing clothes she wanted to wear for filming had been lost.
"She arrived at Heathrow Terminal 5 in plenty of time, checked her two bags in and was told they would make the flight," confirms her spokesperson. "Once on the plane she was told one bag could not be found and was missing."
The supermodel, who's known to practise yoga to help calm her fiery disposition, became upset - resulting in her being asked to leave the flight. She was detained at the airport and later released. "So far as we are aware BA have still failed to offer any explanation as to why her bag went missing at Terminal 5," added her rep.
Unlucky Naomi isn't the only star to have been affected by the goings-on at Heathrow. This week, bubbly TV presenter Fearne Cotton's pricey Betsey Johnson luggage was damaged on her way back from LA.
