It was an event her alter-ego Carrie Bradshaw wouldn't have missed for the world. Looking the epitome of casual chic, Sex And The City's Sarah Jessica Parker was just one of the many beautiful guests marking the opening of Christian Lacroix's new boutique in Manhattan.
In New York for just two days, the French designer celebrated the event by hosting a glamorous private dinner on the rooftop of the luxurious Gramercy Park Hotel.
The 130 guests included fellow designers Diane Von Furstenberg and Christian Louboutin, actress Michelle Trachtenberg and supermodels Jessica Stam, Hana Soukupova and Vlada Roslyakova.
Dressed in a Martin Margiela top and jacket teamed with her own Bitten jeans, fashionista Sarah – who had come straight from recording a TV interview - revealed just how much of an aficionado of the designer she is.
"I'm a very big fan of Lacroix," she said. "I think the first Lacroix I bought was for the premiere of For the Boys, with Bette Midler."
