As a model Lily Cole is no stranger to hopping planes in order to fulfil assignments on the other side of the globe. And becoming a student - she's just embarked upon a three-year course in history of art at King's College Cambridge - has in no way clipped her wings it seems.
Just a day after she was seen pedalling round the university town's streets, a satchel of books in her bike basket, the straight-A student was spotted over 3,400 miles away at a fashion party in New York.
The 20-year-old joined other high-profile guests - including Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan - at a 30th birthday bash for fashion label Diesel. Also at the event, where soul diva Chaka Khan and hip hop star Pharell performed, were newlyweds Peaches Geldof and her musician husband Max Drummey.
Bob Geldof's daughter joins Lily in the A-list student gang, having just started an English degree at New York University.
