Sex And The City fans and followers of fashion hot footed it to the London flagship store of Marks & Spencer this week as the stylist responsible for making the show's main character an international style institution presented her new collaboration.
Big Apple fashion guru Patricia Field, who dressed sassy screen character Carrie Bradshaw, wore one of her own creations to the unveiling of the striking, Sarah Jessica Parker-reminiscent creations. Grouped together under the banner 'Destination New York', the designs will be available in selected M&S shops across the UK.
The 60-piece collection, which encompasses everything from shoes and accessories to jackets and dresses, ranges in price from £15 for a pair of leather gloves to £99 for a mac.
Other highlights from the collection include a flirty, layered-skirt purple cocktail dress and a shimmering shift in bronze floral jacquard - one of this season's key fabrics.
Commenting on her collection, Patricia - whose off-screen clients include Sarah Jessica Parker and Anne Hathaway - says: "I like to see it as expression of my philosophy of 'the democratisation of luxury'."
