Cosy nights in front of the TV watching family programming is not exactly the image Kate Moss usually projects. Yet Britain's coolest supermodel is said to be so gripped by Wild At Heart- a Sunday evening drama about a British vet who relocates to Africa – she never misses an episode.

What's more actor Stephen Tompkinson, who plays the animal doctor who takes a job in a game park, is now a firm favourite with the 35-year-old covergirl.

Such is the beauty's fascination with the show she's taking six-year-old daughter Lila and boyfriend Jamie Hince on a half-term safari break to South Africa.

"Kate wants to see wildebeest and lions in particular," a friend of the model told the Daily Express. "She chose South Africa over Kenya because that's where Wild At Heart is filmed.

Her little girl will be thrilled since her playmate Iris, the daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, came back full of tales about wildlife when her family visited Tanzania's Serengeti National Park.
