Juggling caring for her new baby twins and a hectic filming schedule seems to be taking its toll on Sarah Jessica Parker’s normally immaculate style credentials.
The Sex And The City star looked sensational in a pink mini-dress and five-and-a-half-inch Charlotte Olympia heels at the London premiere of her new film Did You Hear About the Morgans?. But the 44-year-old, who became mother to two surrogate girls in June, had a job keeping the ensemble held up.
Sarah had to adjust the tight strapless dress to stop it falling down as she walked the red carpet with co-star Hugh Grant.It’s a fashion faux pas that would give her alter ego Carrie Bradshaw material for her next column, but perhaps Sarah’s double commitment as mum-of-three and star of the second Sex And The City movie played some part.
The actress recently admitted she had “enormous regrets” about taking on the busy schedule of the Sex And The City sequel.Also at the premiere supporting Hugh was his close friend and former partner Elizabeth Hurley, who made her own fashion headlines on the night.The actress, who attended the movie with husband Arun Nayar, showed she shared the same style sense as some of the film world’s other elegant stars with her two-tone pink-red Dolce&Gabbana number.
King Kong star Naomi Watts wore a violet-purple version of the dress back in October at a film festival in the United Arab Emirates.Meanwhile Adrien Brody’s former Spanish love Elsa Pataky wore the same violet-purple gown at Italy’s Ischia Film and Music Festival in July.
Did You Hear About the Morgans? stars Sarah and Hugh as a New York couple in relationship difficulties who are forced to relocate to tranquil Wyoming after they witness a murder.The film will be released in the UK on January 1.
