In the world of fashion, nobody knows the business quite like Kate Moss. Having conquered the catwalks, and now a designer in her own right, the British beauty continues to reign more than 20 years after she was first discovered. It was of little surprise then to see her make an appearance in Paris this week, where she was in high demand amongst the fashion pack.
First up was the launch of a handbag range created by the 36-year-old for top French leather goods company Longchamp. With her incredible legs on display in a black lace Valentino dress and a cropped white jacket, Kate got cameras flashing as she made a special appearance at the unveiling. The line – which includes The Gloucester tote, a Soho evening clutch bag, and The Glastonbury – was based around Kate's ideal bag, which she describes as both comfortable and light. "I carry so much stuff my bags are full to the brim," the mum-of-one said.
Of course, that wasn't all Kate got up to in Paris, where she was accompanied by her reported fiancé Jamie Hince. On the same day, she also made time to show her support for an old friend – Stella McCartney. Croydon-born Kate and her musician love stopped by the British Embassy to check out the designer's autumn/winter ready-to-wear collection.
Much has changed for Stella since Kate and fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell walked the catwalk for Paul McCartney's daughter at her graduation show in 1995. Now an internationally acclaimed designer, she has remained very close to Kate, who continues to model for her.
