Having showcased his diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs earlier in the week, the industry darling ensured a big finale to the fabulous event with a typically unusual runway show that was an ode to dance halls. “I just wanted the feel of a southern dance hall,” Marc said backstage. The set for the show featured a row of posts and beams down the centre of a wide wooden runway and the curtains opened to reveal a line of models draped over chairs.Marc channeled different eras to shape the new look for next season.
