You can understand just by looking at Monica Bellucci – with her bombshell curves and smouldering good looks – why she says: "I've never felt more comfortable in my skin." At 47 the Italian beauty still has the va-va-voom factor – as was evident this week as she filmed a new commercial for Dolce & Gabbana.
With her hourglass curves poured into a satin and lace effect corset and tiny shorts, and her raven hair tied loosely back - Monica was mesmerising. A younger model on set – who must have been at least 20 years her junior – didn't even get a look in. Becoming a second time mother clearly agrees with the actress and model. She welcomed daughter Leonie – her second little girl with Black Swan actor Vincent Cassel – in May last year.The couple – who have been married since 1999 and starred together in several films - are also parents to seven-year-old Deva.
For Monica, having children later in life was the right choice. The timing was perfect, she says. "Deva arrived at a perfect moment for me. I have done so many things in my life, been to so many places, had some great times – but when she came I was ready to give her everything she needed. "The most important thing with children is to give them your time. Actually, that's all that matters. "I am at a stage in my life where if I don’t go out, I don't feel I’m missing something. I get bored surrounded by people smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol."
