Alessandra Ambrosio finally made her dream come true on Wednesday night when she modelled the $2.5million Fantasy Bra for this year's Victoria's Secret show. It's the first time the mother-of-two has worn the iconic bra, 11 years after Heidi Klum first donned the jewel garment. For the show, the Brazilian beauty donned a bedazzled corset, a headpiece and 'Sexy Little Things' bow-back panties for the 'Circus' segment. For the finale, the model, who gave birth to her son six months ago, looked stunning with orchid wings and a leaf corset that complemented the Floral Fantasy Bra gift set during the 'Angels in Bloom' segment.
The bra, worn by Miranda Kerr in 2011, is re-designed every year. For the 2012 show, the Fantasy Bra was covered in intricate flowers made out of 5,200 precious and semi-precious stones. The gems include amethysts, sapphires, rubies and white, pink and yellow diamonds. When told she would be wearing the bra - designed by Long Islander's London Jewelers - which features a 20 carat white diamond centerpiece, the model said she was taken aback. "I wanted to scream," the Brazilian beauty said. "But I won't lie, I was really worried." The stunning brunette follows in the steps of Heidi Klum, Claudia Schiffer and Gisele Bundchen - who in 2000 wore the 'Red Hot Fantasy Bra', which is worth $15 million.
Earlier that evening, whilst backstage getting ready, Alessandra shared several snaps of her and various other models. One of them, featuring Lily Aldridge and Miranda Kerr read: "Backstage action with angels Miranda Kerr and Lily Aldridge".Alessandra has recently passed on her modelling tips to her four-year-old daughter Anja and the two have shared the spotlight in the latest campaign of London Fog. The 31-year-old said recently in a statement: "Having my daughter steal the spotlight is pretty funny and I just love it! I’m so proud of her. She had a great time on set."
