Style queen Victoria Beckham is a tangerine dream at Valentino exhibition

November 29, 2012

She is thought to be on a househunting visit to the UK, having been spotted looking at four posh pads in the capital. But, ever the style queen, Victoria Beckham managed to fit in a night of fashion during her fleeting trip, dropping by the London College of Fashion before stepping out at the launch of the Valentino exhibition on Wednesday night. And the brunette beauty lit up the proceedings at the swanky, star-studded bash, looking every inch the tangerine dream in a burnt orange short suit that she paired with a black vest top and black leather, cut out heels.

She posed up with man of the moment Valentino before moving inside to join a host of fellow famous faces, includingElizabeth Hurley, US socialite Olivia Palermo, Stella McCartney and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie along with their mother Sarah Ferguson. The Valentino: Master of Couture Exhibition celebrates the life and work of Valentino Garavani. Earlier, Victoria had visited educational establishment London College of Fashion, to pass on some words of wisdom to the future stars of fashion with writer Colin McDowell. After the event, she tweeted: "Thank you Colin McDowell and the inspirational students and staff at @LCFLondon, it was a great evening x vb." The news that Victoria is looking for houses in London is fuelling rumours that they are looking to relocate. While they've made no secret of their love for their adopted American homeland, it seems that David and Victoria Beckham are "seriously considering" a move back to the UK and have even started looking for a new family home in London.

"They love their life in Los Angeles, but there are some serious discussions going on at the moment about a potential move," a source close to the Beckhams tells HELLO!. At the end of last year speculation was rife that David would transfer to French club Paris Saint-Germain, but in January he signed a new two-year contract with his club LA Galaxy, citing his family's need for stability as the reason for remaining Stateside. "My family and I are incredibly happy and settled in America, and we look forward to spending many more years here," he said at the time. However, Galaxy and their star midfielder agreed to a one-year get-out clause – and there are signs that this may be about to be exercised. Our source says: "David is passionate about his career and wants to spend his last years as a top level footballer playing to the best of his ability.

The pretty brunette made sure that she looked her best as she arrived at the educational establishment to speak to the world's future clothing stars. "He may well get offers from European clubs, and he's made it clear that, if the offer is right, a move back across the Atlantic could be on the cards." Friends of the Beckhams say the next few weeks will be crucial as the family considers its options should David decide that his career in Major League Soccer in the US has come to an end. Victoria, who has previously been reluctant to uproot the couple's three school age sons – Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, ten, and Cruz, seven – now thinks that a move might be the best option.
