Jessie J recently changed stylists, promising to swap her signature loud ensembles and eccentric hair and make-up for more feminine couture — and the singer seems to be sticking true to her resolution. The popstar turned up for the Tom Ford Hosts London Collections dinner in London on Wednesday night showing off her gorgeous new look. The Dominoes singer was the epitome of chic in head to toe black, wearing a black shirt tucked into black jeans paired with a tuxedo blazer.
And the dark enbsemble was topped off bya zebra print and gold tote and a pair of patent knee-high boots that lent a sexy look to her outfit. The Voice judge had earlier tweeted a photo of the handbag that she bought in Los Angeles. Further adding to her new look was her brunette locks, which were poker straight, and the simple make-up that consisted of smoky eyes and peach blusher, letting her natural beauty shine through. At the party she joined Tinie Tempah, who was hosting the swanky fashion bash. The two singers were rumoured to be dating last year after meeting on the showbiz circuit and growing closer, but they both denied being a couple.
The pair showed off their good friendship at the party, with Jessie J sharing a picture of her and a red Paul Smith suit clad Tinie posing for the camera, saying: "So proud of you," and "@Tiniegram thanks for having me!" Other stars at the invite-only party included Colin Firth, who starred in Tom Ford's 2009 A Single Man. The Hollywood actor looked as dapper as ever in his navy suit while he posed with his wife Livia Guiggioli. And Harry Styles, who has hit headlines this week for his relationship with country singer Taylor Swift, looked to be having a good time at the party, enjoying cocktails as he posed with various famous faces. Jemima Khan, singer Alexandra Burke, model Laura Bailey and MTV presenter Laura Whitmore were also in attendance. And black seemed to be the order of the evening for stylish ladies Alexandra and Laura, who both wore all-black ensembles.
Twenty-four-old Jessie J parted ways with long term stylist Karl Willet in 2011, instead choosing to take sartorial guidance from Cobbie Yates, who she met through his brother, The Voice presenter Reggie. She has since transformed her look, saying that her old style made her look like a 'cartoon'.
