Looking fabulous herself in a black lace dress that she later swapped for a slinky silver number, Louise Roe was on hand at the Golden Globes to cast a discerning eye over all the wonderful gowns that glided down the red carpet. But who stood out for her as the best-dressed of the entire evening? The fashionista shares her thoughts with HELLO! Online... "My best-dressed was Jessica Alba in a stunning strapless sherbet number by Oscar de la Renta and a matching feather clutch by Roger Vivier – so chic but totally set off by her coral lipstick and retro hair, which she told me was inspired by Veronica Lake.

Then Nicole Kidman, who looked like a chic statue in McQueen: a transparent corset and gold embellished honey-bees on the chest. She was in a fun mood and joked that she once had to leave an awards because of an uncomfortable dress, so comfort was of paramount importance! Megan Fox looked ethereal post-baby in a strapless blush lace gown (which by the way was the biggest trend of the night- check out Hayden Panettiere, Amy Adams and Amanda Seyfried). Megan told me that hubby Brian had vetoed her first pair of shoes and approved her second. And accessory of the evening goes to Julianne Hough, styled by my best friend Anita Patrickson, who had a custom ruby ear-cuff made in the shape of a preying mantiss. So cool.

I was a little disappointed with Zooey Deschanel and Debra Messing, such gorgeous women who drowned their figures in big prom-like strapless gowns which didn't give them much shape. My coolest moment? My unlikely boogyer and tequila shot-taker partner at the after-party, Bill Murray!"Who did you think was the best dressed of the evening?
