From premieres to the playground, Jessica Alba rarely puts a fashion foot out of place. Equals part cool-girl and glamazon, the starlet frequently tops best-dressed lists and has the art of casual chic to a tee. The Hollywood actress was stunning as she stepped out at the Golden Globes earlier this month, wearing a killer pink dress from Christian Dior that celebrity stylist Louise Roe told HELLO! Online was her 'best-dressed' of the night. Following the awards, Jessica got ready for a night of partying as she headed to the Warner Bros. Golden Globe After Party sporting a band on-trend, monochrome chequered print Louis Vuitton dress. Despite pairing gave the black and white number with black Casadei pointed toe pumps, she added a splash of colour to the outfit with bright orange lips.
And it's not just her red carpet looks that have earned her style icon status – her love of plaid shirts, leather biker jackets, skinny jeans and ankle boots has ensured she is one of the most stylish pavement celebs around. She is often spotted showing off super stylish looks as she strolls around Los Angeles with her gorgeous little daughters in tow. Speaking about her style last year, Jessica said she feels she has become 'more adventurous' since having children. "My style is more adventurous since I became a mom. In the past, I was into my uniform of leggings and a sweater. Now I'm willing to try bold prints, bright colours and different cuts," the mum of daughters Honor and Haven explained to Instyle magazine. But while the Sin City star is more likely to experiment with fashion these days, there are still some items of clothing that she vows not to touch. Despite having the figure to pull off almost anything, she revealed that she "probably won't ever wear booty shorts. "I feel pretty confident about that," she said. "And I don't like oversize shoulder pads, but I do appreciate a strong shoulders profile, like the ones Isabel Marant is doing."
Jessica believes the secret to her stunning style is all in the fit of the garment, rather than the quality or the name behind it. "Whether you shop at H&M, Topshop, Target, Forever 21, or buy high-end, if the piece doesn't fit, it will be halfway there," she said. "So get your jackets nipped in at the waist and your pants hemmed at the perfect place. If you get your clothing tailored, you can look like a million bucks."
