Kate Moss lends star power to pal Stella McCartney's Comic Relief campaign

Some of the world's biggest stars are lending celebrity clout to Comic Relief this year. Jessie J has agreed to shave her head for the charity, One Direction has recorded the charity single and now, we have learnt that Kate Moss is also giving a helping hand. The British fashion icon joins a host of famous faces that have teamed up with her good friend and one of our most prominent fashion designers, Stella McCartney, to front the Comic Relief campaign.

Alongside Brit funnyman David Walliams, Hollywood superstars Cameron Diaz and Liv Tyler, actor Eddie Redmayne, fashion icon Alexa Chung, model David Gandy and Robbie Williams, Kate has modelled a line of t-shirts, designed by award-winning London designer Stella. And pictures of Kate and David Walliams striking a pose in the tees have been released. While the supermodel adopts her typical sultry gaze as she shows off a t-shirt emblazed with her own face, Little Britain comedian David plays up to his funnyman image as he larks around in the shoot wearing a Tommy Cooper t-shirt. Working their magic behind the camera to capture the famous faces was gorgeous supermodel and photographer Helena Christensen and renowned photographer Mary McCartney, who is also Stella's sister.

Britain's top male model David Gandy spoke about being part of the campaign, saying: "I'm really happy to be involved in the t-shirt campaign. Comic Relief does an amazing job in raising money for such an important cause and by wearing one of Stella McCartney's designed t-shirts you can be a part of that and own a piece of stylish, Comic Relief history at the same time." Stella has created five individual designs, with iconic prints featuring The Beatles, Tommy Cooper, Marilyn Monroe, Kate Moss and a child’s giraffe print t-shirt. Made from 100% Fairtrade certified organic cotton, the Red Nose Day t-shirts are available exclusively in TK Maxx stores and online starting at £5.00 for a children's tee, with at least £2.50 going to Comic Relief, and £9.99 for an adult version, with at least £5 going to the charity.

In addition to TK Maxx designs, Stella has also exclusively unveiled a collection of 25 unique, custom-made T-shirt designs in a bid to raise even more money for this year's appeal. Each piece is a one-off collector's item, available exclusively at Stella McCartney's London flagship stores. "When you buy a Red Nose Day T-shirt you are giving to a great and worthy charity," Stella explained. "I wanted to one step further and get really personal, so I customised a limited number of the T-shirts. They take you one step closer to an individual piece; while you're giving a bit more to Comic Relief, you're receiving a bit more... So it all makes perfect sense!"
