Kendall and Kylie Jenner have touched down in New York ahead of appearing in the Red Dress Collection this evening. The glamorous teenagers, whose famous big sisters are Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, will be donning glamorous red gowns for the show, in aid of Heart Truth. The girls’ mother Kris Jenner will also be walking down the catwalk, along with more than 20 other celebrities including Kelly Osbourne and Toni Braxton, all of whom will be wearing sporting red dresses.
The Red Dress Fashion Show, which takes place in the Hammerstein ballroom, aims to raise awareness of female heart disease in the US. Previous models have included Heidi Klum and Liza Minnelli. With fashion as the key focus for the trip, Kendall, elegant in a white shirt and black leather jacket, tweeted a photo of her Celine bag and said, "let the work begin! hello NYC." Mum Kris later showed off Kendall’s Balenciaga boots and tweeted "Some serious shoe."
Since flying into the Big Apple, the threesome have made the most of the city’s exceptional eateries. Kris and her two youngest daughters ate dumplings at the world-renowned Japanese flagship restaurant Nobu, while the girls have tweeted photos of themselves eating cupcakes and chocolate dipped strawberries. Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 15, were very young when the Kardashian family first shot to fame, but in recent years the Jenner sisters have kick-started modelling careers of their own. Part of their trip to New York and New Jersey is to meet and greet fans as well as launching a new fashion line for Pacsun.
