All eyes were on Hollywood stars Jessica Chastain and Amanda Seyfried as they attended the Givenchy show at Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, showing off their front row style credentials in sleek black ensembles. Amanda, who stunned in a tied and twisted red Givenchy gown during the Les Miserables cast performance at the Oscars, opted for a more pared-down look for the show in a one-sleeved, geometric dress and black heels. Glossy waves and smoky eyes completed the look. Jessica, meanwhile, who has enjoyed a successful awards season that culminated in her stunning appearance at the Oscars last week, wore a blazer with black peg trousers that featured unusual fringed detailing.
The 35-year-old, who was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Zero Dark Thirty, admitted that she is ready to turn her attention to her next project – Liv Ullmann's film adaptation of play Miss Julie alongside Colin Farrell. "I was looking at the script today and I've got so much work to do," she said. The ladies were joined by monochrome-clad Nicole Richie, sporting a ruffled jacket and a pencil skirt that she paired with killer pointed heels. Also in attendance were Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who wore complementing outfits to the presentation. Kim wore a fitted black tuxedo with ribbon detail while Kanye choose all-white.
The couple seemed close as they laughed and chatted through the sartorial unveiling. Kanye – who debuted his own collection in Paris two years ago – kept his eye on the trends as he captured highlights on his camera. Like her partner, Kim, 32, also relies on runway looks for her own brand of clothing, Kardashian Kollection, which she runs with sisters Khloe and Kourtney. The brand's co-designer Bruno Chiavi recently told HELLO! Online: "The girls go to various fashion shows and I look at what's happening on the runways around the world. We'll then decide on the key shapes for the season."
