Kate moss' daughter Lila Grace supports model mum at Louis Vuitton show

March 6, 2013

Kate Moss' 11-year-old daughter Lila Grace made a rare appearance on Wednesday as she attended the Louis Vuitton show to support her model mum. Accompanied by dad Jefferson Hack and her stepdad Jamie Hince, who recently tied the knot with Kate, the youngster looked effortlessly chic in skinny black jeans and a biker jacket.

The trio looked on as Kate took to the catwalk wearing a transparent, crystal adorned maxi dress and a black wig, oozing confidence as she worked the setting – a hotel complete with numbered stained oak doors and old-fashioned wallpaper that saw the models step out from the doors of a corridor. In 2007, the normally tight-lipped supermodel opened up about her relationship with Lila Grace, describing her as "a Mini Me". She also revealed that Lila's birth marked a key moment in her life. "I felt like now I've got a partner in crime," she said.

"I'm never going to have to be on my own again."

It comes as no surprise to learn that the daughter of one of the world's most ubiquitous models has inherited her famous mum's flair for fashion. "She comes in at bedtime and says, 'Mummy, do you think this is a good look?' and then she has a fashion crisis," Kate said. "I say, 'You will wear what I tell you,' but she says she's the adult of the bedroom. Now we lay the clothes out before she goes to bed - but then she goes, 'Mum, I need options'." Her mother's globe-trotting schedule and high-profile career means Lila also boasts some influential friends on the fashion scene. Kate fondly recalled how Lila and Donatella Versace "struck up a friendship" on a campaign shoot for the designer's label which ended up with Lila sporting waist-length hair extensions, much to her head-tossing delighted. Kate also told of the youngster's amusing encounter with Princess Beatrice and her sister Eugenie, when a bemused Lila asked: "How come, if you're princesses, you don't have tiaras and a pink dress?".

Lila was a bridesmaid at Kate and Jamie's wedding in July 2011. When Kate arrived at the Gloucestershire parish church in the first of six Rolls Royces, she was seated between Lila and her father Peter.

Kate's dress, believed to have been designed by her friend John Galliano, was vintage-inspired and scattered with rhinestones. Her delicate lace veil was fitted with a vintage-style head piece. The bride's Manolo Blahnik heels included a blue insole as part of the 'something blue' tradition. The Topshop designer wore her hair in her signature tousled style and had opted for light makeup. Each of her 14 bridesmaids wore white flower garlands in their hair and they had on a different dresses, many designed by the likes of Stella McCartney. Her maid of honour, Jess Hallet, wore a blue gown in the same shade as the groom's and his 'best man' - his bandmate Alison Mosshart. They had both donned suits by YSL.

Naomi Campbell, Bryan Ferry, Daphne Guinness, and Sadie Frost were just a few of the A-listers who came to the Cotswolds to witness the exchanging of vows.Kate is reported to have two Stella McCartney gowns lined up for the reception and after-party, as well as a going-away suit to end the night in style. The day before their wedding the cover girl glowed in a Seventies-style turquoise dress while her rocker fiancé looked equally trendy in a light blue blazer.
