The Miu Miu show at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday was attended by Hollywood stars Renee Zellweger, Zoe Saldana and January Jones. The A-list ladies spent several minutes catching up before casting a discerning eye over the Italian fashion house's latest offerings from their front row seats. Renee and Zoe had both opted for darker shades, with Renee showing off her trim physique in a black lace dress while Zoe rocked leather trousers and a navy top.
January, meanwhile, chose a more girly ensemble of a pink shirt and black shorts. A bouffant, headband hair style completed the look. Featuring belted, deconstructed coats, ankle boots and bowling bags, the collection was infused with the idea of city living. But the candy colour palette of sugar pink, lemon yellow and powder blue spiced up the simplicity of the garments. Tuesday at the fashion extravaganza saw Kate Moss take to the catwalk for Louis Vuitton. The 39-year-old took to the runway wearing a transparent, crystal adorned maxi dress and a black wig, oozing confidence as she worked the setting – a hotel complete with numbered stained oak doors and old-fashioned wallpaper that saw the models, including Cara Delevingne, step out from the doors of a corridor.
Kate had some support in the audience – wearing a cute biker jacket, her 11-year-old daughter Lila Grace had turned up to watch the show, accompanied by her dad Jefferson Hack and her stepdad Jamie Hince, who recently married Kate. According to Marc, the idea behind the setting and the collection was of a woman who was "all dressed up with nowhere to go" and ends up staying in her hotel room. The collection infused with effortless glamour. Lace slips, silks shorts and embroidered transparent gowns were paired with baggy, boyfriend jumpers and big fur jackets. Speaking about the woman he had in mind while creating the collection, he said: "She's so many different women, there's a certain decadence, she likes luxury, she's kind of bored." "It's a mix of many eras," he continued. "There's some Gloria Swanson and a lot of Hollywood. It's friends of mine who were in the show but who will remain nameless."
