Stepping out in a sleek black jumpsuit, Charlize Theron was the epitome of laidback chic at the GLAAD Media awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The actress paired the halter-neck number, created by Michelle Obama's favourite designer Jason Wu, with bright pink lips. She wore her short hair in a quiff.
After posing up a storm on the red carpet, Charlize took to the stage with fellow actor Leonardo DiCaprio to present their entertainment lawyer, Steve Warren, with a trophy.
The annual event celebrates the gay, lesbian and transgender community, and Steve received the trophy for his work advocating gay rights in the entertainment industry. Another celebrity that chose to wear black for the swanky bash was Kirsten Dunst. The Hollywood star's LBD showed off a variety of textures including laser-cut lace and snake print. She completed the look with voluminous waves and a black headband. Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence also went back to black, sporting a sexy, super tight-fitting David Koma dress that featured a fluted hem and a sheer panel across the shoulders. She styled the creation with black Nicholas Kirkwood sandals.
The actress also wowed onlookers with her newly chopped, bouncy hairstyle. The choppy bob had an effortless feel, with her layers teased into loose curls and a side-swept fringe. Breaking up the sea of black was Kelly Rowland, who was white hot in an ivory jumpsuit. The singer wore the fitted, flare tux-style number with a pair of matching towering platforms, as well as a pair of white statement earrings. Other stars at the event were Drew Barrymore, Elle Fanning and Rumer Willis.
