Gwyneth Paltrow has been named the 'Most Beautiful Woman' of 2013 by People Magazine. The Hollywood actress appears on the latest edition's cover after bagging the title, previously held by close friend Beyoncé, Halle Berry and Angelina Jolie. Speaking to the magazine, the Iron Man 3 actress explained that she isn't always as glamorous as she appears on the red carpet.
"Around the house, I'm in jeans and a T-shirt," she said. "I don't really wear make-up. That's what they're used to. "Chris will make a joke about it. If I've gotten fully dressed up, he'll be like, 'Oh wow! You're Gwyneth Paltrow!' Because he's used to seeing me in, like, baggy shorts and frizzy hair." The Oscar-winning actress, who recently turned 40, said her definition of being beautiful has changed. "I feel my most beautiful when I am truly myself," she explained. "Meaning, when I accept exactly where I am in time and space, and I'm not judging myself in any way, and I feel that I have the peace that comes with loving yourself and all of your flaws.
"I see so much now how beauty really does, as cliché as it sounds, emanate from within." Gwyneth went on to say she owes her youthful appearance to regular exercising. "It makes me look younger and feel strong," she said. "When I first started, I thought, 'I'll never be good at this - this is a nightmare!' But now it's like brushing my teeth - I just do it." Last night, Gwyneth joked: "It's like the American version of a knighthood, basically. My title just got longer." The actress also revealed to E! News she is delighted with the title: "Oh, lord! It's very sweet and I'm so embarrassed, but I'm so happy."
